About Rise

Rise Plant City is a group of motivated young professionals and community leaders with one goal: to make the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World a viable place for other young professionals to do business, socialize, spend their time and raise a family. We work alongside the Plant City Economic Development Corp. and the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce to move Plant City in a direction of innovation and growth. Top foci include attracting new young professionals to town, keeping the ones who already call Plant City home, and welcoming returning Plant City natives back from college. To do this, we want to boost the quality of life in Plant City. Think we need more trendy restaurants in Historic Downtown? Would you like to see more things for young people to do? How about small business training and entrepreneurship mentoring programs? We want to hear your thoughts on how to make Plant City a great place for young professionals to live, work, and play.
